General

Website Usage

All transactions made on Yakimagenerator.com website are fulfilled through Yakimagenerator.com or one of our suppliers and include a shipping and handling fee.

Payment

We accept payment via Master card, Visa, American Express and Discover credit or debit cards. We are Currently using PayPal for payment transactions.

Order Status

Information about the status of your order is available by visiting the Order Status in Your Account section of Yakimagenerator.com website. You will need your email address and password for your account . We pride ourselves on Fast turn around on orders, shipping most orders from our inventory.  Please note that orders cannot be modified or cancelled once they enter the shipping process, which, if all parts are in stock, may occur within minutes of placing the order. Pricing

Prices on the Yakimagenerator.com website are in effect at the time of order placement and, excluding errors or omissions, will not change during order processing. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Sales Tax

Washington State residents are subject to a sales tax of 8.20%. If you are in Washington State and tax exempt, We will require a “Tax Resale or Tax Exemption Certificate” on file to ship an order without sales tax. Please Contact us.

Order Accuracy Guarantee

Mistakes

Parts: Upon delivery of your package, please check the contents for accuracy. If we make an error in shipping you what you ordered, we will correct it at no additional cost to you, provided you report the error to us within 7 days of the delivery of your package. After 90 days, no returns will be accepted and no refunds allowed.

Equipment: Same as Parts, however mistakes must be reported within 7 days of delivery of your package. After 30 days, no returns will be accepted and no refunds allowed.

Damage in Shipping

If you believe your parts were damaged or lost in shipment, please contact us immediately and we will communicate with the carrier on your behalf to enter a claim. Do not throw away the box or any of the contents as doing so may result in the carrier denying the claim. In the event that the carrier wants to see the packaging or parts before settling the claim, you will need these items available for inspection. Yakima Generator.com will re-enter a replacement order for you which will be charged to the carrier.

Defects in Manufacture

Parts: If you believe a part you received has a manufacturer defect, please contact us  immediately. If we can verify a defect does exist we will replace the part at no additional cost to you. Note that neither Yakima Generator.com nor the manufacturer may be held responsible for a customer’s misuse of merchandise.

Equipment: If you believe a unit you received has a manufacturer defect, please contact us  immediately. We will help you locate a local dealer to whom you may take the unit for verification of the warranty issue. Note that neither Yakima Generator.com nor the manufacturer may be held responsible for a customer’s misuse of merchandise.

Availability and Fulfillment

Most orders ship from our inventory within 1-2 business days. We are constantly evaluating and expanding our inventory in order to increase the percentage of orders that ship within one day. Parts on customer orders that are not in our stock are ordered from our suppliers every weekday morning, holidays accepted. It usually takes 1-5 business days to get the parts into our stock, allowing us to fill and ship your order. Parts that are not in stock at our suppliers (the Original Equipment Manufacturer or their regional distributor) will take longer to obtain and these delays are not within Yakima Generator.com control. Most equipment offered for sale will be dropped ship form Mfg. or distributor for faster delivery. Equipment will always ship in a dedicated box, separately from any parts that may have been on the same order. As such there may be a time difference between the arrival of equipment and parts, even when originating from the same order.

Yakima Generator.com does not condone local dealer racing and reserves the right to ban users found to repeatedly cancel orders.

Returns

Parts: First request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) through our Order Status page or by calling Customer Service. Parts ordered that Yakima generator has to bring in special from factory will have a 25% restock fee.You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to return the part to us for a refund of the full price you paid for the part. Please note we cannot refund the shipping and handling charge. Should you need more time, we will accept returns for an additional 60 days with a 25% restocking fee. No returns will be accepted after 90 days from the date you receive your order. Once Yakima Generator.com receives and processes your return, we will apply the appropriate refund to the credit card used to pay for the order. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. All returned parts must be in new, un-used, un-installed and re-saleable condition. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing returns.

Electrical:  No Returns on Opened Packages 

Equipment: First request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) through our Order Status page or by calling Customer Service. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. All returned parts must be in new, un-used and re-saleable condition. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing returns. * Equipment may not be returned once it has been gassed and/or oiled due to federal shipping regulations. If the product that you would like to return has been gassed or oiled, it must be taken to an authorized service center for repair which may be covered under warranty. *

In order to enable efficient and timely processing of returns, all returns should have the RMA number clearly displayed on the outside of the packaging and include a copy of the order invoice.

Shipping

Yakima Generator.com partners with several major carriers for each shipping delivery option, and we will use the most appropriate carrier to deliver your order. Our Standard Service is USPS Priority Mail, larger items will be shipped UPS or FED EX. ground.  . Shipping and handling costs as well as service level availability such as Next Day Air are based on your location and will be displayed during check out after you enter your shipping address.

There may also be additional shipping charges for over-sized or overweight items, hazardous materials such as spray paint and oils or orders containing Whole Goods (equipment). If any additional shipping charges apply, we will contact you prior to shipping your package.

Please note that holidays observed by Yakima Generator.com and/or the carrier are not considered business days for the purposes of estimating fulfillment or shipping transit times.

Yakima Generator.com reserves the right to change carriers to ensure that your package arrives in the fastest time possible. All services and carriers may not be available for all locations, and availability is subject to change.

Expedited Service

The shipping service level is your choice. Though we ship most orders within one business day, we do not guarantee all parts will be in stock for those who choose expedited shipping. Part availability is totally independent of the shipping service level choice. If all parts are in stock, expedited orders submitted before 12.00 p.m. Pacific Time on a weekday should ship that day, Yakima Generator.com and carrier holidays excepted.

Partial Shipments

By default, Yakima Generator.com holds orders until we can ship them complete. Customers may request a partial shipment of their order by entering a note when submitting the order, by sending us an email via our contact us  form or by calling Yakima Generator.com Customer Service at 509-571-1922. There is an additional Shipping and Handling fee per partial shipment. This fee is charged at the time of the partial shipment.

Drop Shipments

A Drop Shipment is any order that we can fulfill from our suppliers (the Original Equipment Manufacturer or their regional distributor) inventory, and ship directly to the customer. The Drop Shipment program is designed to reduce the transit time of an order by 1-3 business days in most cases. In the case of a Drop Shipment from one of our suppliers, Yakima Generator.com may alter the carrier or service level to ensure the quickest delivery time of the order. Drop Shipments are not currently available by request, and are specifically designed to reduce transit time on parts that we do not currently have in stock.

Other

Due to shipping restrictions, all lead-acid batteries ship WITHOUT acid.

All orders choosing an “air” shipping service level will be reviewed for eligibility. By law, certain hazardous materials cannot be shipped by air. If we find your order contains a hazardous material and you chose an “air” shipping service level, we will contact you to discuss your options.

All merchandise is warranted under coverage as provided by each individual manufacturer. Goods to be returned for warranty consideration must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number, which can only be issued by Yakima Generator.com. Please use the Order Status page to request an RMA number.

Equipment: Yakima Generator.com shall not be responsible for any commercial, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of any products. All merchandise is warranted under coverage as provided by each individual manufacturer. Yakima Generator.com will submit all warranty registration information to the individual manufacturer around the time of your purchase. As such, goods to be submitted for warranty consideration should be brought to a local authorized dealer of that equipment brand, NOT sent back to Yakima Generator.com.
