Thinking that the “original” filter was never installed. I had trouble starting the genny one day and saw that this was one of the items in the troubleshooting check list. Cleared the vent hose with small wire and the genny started and ran just fine. Looked for the filter and found this one “online”. Yakima sold the filter w/o gouging the consumer. THANKS!
